Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Player Rashee Rice

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening indicating they have knowledge of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver the athlete and had been in contact with the NFL.

The team did not mention the player by name in their announcement and noted they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete directly, shared a set of images on social media that seemed to depict signs of physical abuse.
